Setting the fabrics, an easy task?

I have been working on setting the fabric for my latest collection in what seems like a small eternity. It’s a lot of ground work, collaborating backwards and forward to see what works or not and then it’s the typical set backs of waiting for fabrics to arrive. I ordered a smaller batch a couple of weeks ago (I know I can find similar qualities in the nearby fabric outlets) but the online prices outweigh them. I ordered a batch from denverfabrics and some Eyelet lace from fabric.com (the fabric arrived in a week, very quick and easy). Always add time for this stage as it’s in most cases is a bit of a ‘change and change back’ stage. I am curious about what everyone else thinks about setting the fabric and if you feel it’s an easy task or the hardest one.

Happy Designing out there…xx Alice
